Alana graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology). Throughout her time at university, Alana conducted volunteer work in not-for-profit legal organisations and internships in private practice which led her to develop a keen interest in family law. This led her to joining the team at Phelps Reid Foster Johnson Lawyers, bringing with her a passion for people. Alana utilises her strong communication and interpersonal skills to help her clients achieve their desired legal outcomes.
Alana has experience in both parenting and property matters, and is highly skilled in assisting clients to reach final agreements through amicable and pragmatic means.
Alana enjoys bushwalking with her golden retriever, and has been an active volunteer with Camp Quality since 2016. She has a quiet competitive streak which she channels into board games (or any challenge you set her).
Alana is a member of the Women Lawyers Association of the ACT and the Canberra Region Family Law Professionals Association.
